The Graduate Affairs Committee meets every fourth Tuesday, August - May and is the main graduate affairs governing and advisory body for the IUPUI campus.

Deans (or their representatives) from all schools represented on the IUPUI campus and Indiana University Graduate Council members from IUPUI make up the Graduate Affairs Committee. The Curriculum and Fellowship Committees are subcommittees of the GAC. Graduate Affairs Committee members' terms last as long as they are deans or representatives of an IUPUI school or as long as the term of their elected position (Graduate Council members hold 3-year terms).
