dc.description.abstractOra H. Pescovitz was born in 1957 and received her Doctorate in Medicine at Northwestern University in Illinois in 1979. After her graduation, she had served two different Pediatric Residencies at the University of Minnesota for two years and at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. for one year. From 1988 to 2009, Pescovitz had worked at Indiana University and with the IU School of Medicine as a Professor of Pediatrics and of Physiology, Executive Associate Dean of Research Affairs, Interim Vice President of Research Administration, and was the President and CEO of Riley’s Hospital for Children. She currently serving as the seventh President of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.en_US
