dc.description.abstract | Immigration over the past decade has brought a number of previously underrepresented groups to the city, who have brought with them their religious traditions-some of them unfamiliar to Americans. Indianapolis now has Sikh, Baha'i, Buddhist, Hindu, and Islamic congregations, among others. As with previous immigrant groups, their religion sustains their culture as they make the transition to assimilation. The issue includes resources and an interview with K.P. Singh, co-founder of the International Center of Indianapolis. | en |
