dc.description.abstractD. Craig Brater When he joined Indiana University in 1986, he helped establish the Division of Clinical Pharmacology in the Department of Medicine. Later, he was selected as the chair of the Department of Medicine in 1990. In 2008, Brater was awarded an honorary doctorate from Purdue University. In 2013, he retired from IU after a combined 27 years of service, and was presented with The University Medal, by IU President Michael McRobbie, for his dedicated leadership through his career. Throughout his career, he has published over 150 medical papers in peer reviewed journals.en_US
