Abstract

Dr. Steven C. Beering, Steve M.D. serves as President Emeritus of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Beering served as the President of Purdue University from 1983 to 2000. Dr. Beering served as Dean of the Indiana University School of Medicine and Director of the Indiana University Medical Center from 1974 to 1983. He served as the Chairman of National Science Board since 2006 and as its Director since 2002. He serves as a Director of American United Life Insurance Company. He served as Independent Director of NiSource Inc. from 1986 to May 15, 2012.
