| dc.description.abstract | In 2009, a total of 189,676 traffic collisions were reported in Indiana by law enforcement. Of those, 10,542 (5.6 percent) involved a large truck. Less than one percent of the Indiana collisions involving large trucks resulted in a fatality. This fact sheet summarizes data trends on traffic collisions involving large trucks between 2005 and 2009, including speeding, injuries, alcohol use, and other factors contributing to large truck collisions. | en_US |
