    Join Hands Day 2004: Evaluation Report

    JOIN HANDS DAY is a national day of service. The fifth JOIN HANDS DAY took place on May 1, 2004, although some participants held their events on different days due to weather or other conflicts. JOIN HANDS DAY encourages people to form partnerships across generations and to build understanding, respect, and trust while working together to help improve their neighborhoods. It is sponsored by the members of the National Fraternal Congress of America, collectively known as America’s Fraternal Benefit Societies (AFBS), in association with the Points of Light Foundation and the Volunteer Center National Network. This report is an evaluation of JOIN HANDS DAY 2004.
