Wisdom demands the sharing of knowledge. We therefore collect, organize, and assist in the use of the record of human understanding. We preserve the records of the past; we help individuals inform themselves in the present, and we shape the information environment for the future. The IUPUI University Library honors tradition, but looks to the innovative application of technology and new forms of engagement with our various publics as our path to excellence.
