In 2006 in Indiana, this age group represented nine percent of the population, seven percent of licensed drivers, and 18 percent of drivers involved in collisions. This fact sheet analyzes young driver involvement in collisions in Indiana from 2003 to 2006, including injury trends, driver contributing factors, restraint use, and alcohol involvement.
